Setting the Scene
First Press Coffee began in Melbourne in 2013, as two lads with a dream of supplying healthy cold press coffee, made with quality single origin beans, Australian made plant-based milks, and zero refined sugar. What started as a burgeoning brand led to bigger dreams. They had a goal to take their product from boutique to the big leagues: nationwide distribution.
The ‘Aha!’ Moment
Their product needed to reach an audience interested in premium brands, which was out of reach with their current perception. They had been advised that their packaging needed improvement, and that their website was not slick or comprehensive enough to inform their target market. To re-establish their position, we explored the brand equity of the existing First Press Coffee identity, which inspired the necessary rebranding efforts.
Creative Conclusions
With improved brand messaging and visual identity, First Press Coffee achieved their goal, growing from boutique markets to seeing their products available nationwide in major chain stores such as Woolworths and Dan Murphy’s.
Since the initial success, First Press Coffee is now exported around the world, and Brandwell continues to work with the company, developing new strategies for new product lines.
